The result of the Combined Competitive Examination (Main) for the Recruitment to the posts of GujaratAdministrative Service, Class‐1 & Gujarat Civil Service, Class‐1 & 2 (Advertisement No. 09/2014‐15) held on 10, 11 & 18‐ September, 2016 and personal interview test held during 23rd April, 2017 to 20th May, 2017, 2nd June, 2017 & 27th June, 2017 is hereby declared as per Annexure‐IThe above result is declared taking intoconsideration the provisions of the Gujarat Civil Services (Class I & Class II), Competitive Examination Rules, 2000 (as amended from time to time) and other relevant applicable criteria, which are as under :‐

The merit has been determined on the basis of the aggregate marks (total marks) awarded to the candidates in the Main Examination (i.e. written examination and viva‐voce test)

(ii) In view of the amendment carried out in Rule 17 vide GAD Notification No. GS/2009/4/Bharat/10/2007/1014/k dated 17th January, 2009, no Waiting List is prepared by the Commission.

(iii) The Reserved Category Candidates (SC / ST / SEBC), who get either equal or more than minimum marks fixed as qualifying standard for general candidates and have not availed of any relaxation in age, qualifying standard etc. at any point of the examination process (Meritorious reserved Category {MRC} Candidates) have been selected against unreserved posts as per their preference in order of merit, as per theGovernment circular, G.A.D. No. PVS‐ 1099‐MM‐ l3‐G4 dated 29‐01‐ 2000 and PVS‐102003‐900‐G4, dated 23‐07‐ 2004.
