Indian smartphone manufacturer Micromax has launched a handset in India on Tuesday.This is the company's first 4G feature phone. Micromax CEO Rahul Sharma has claimed that, if users use that phone for 1 or 2 years then Bharat 1 will be cheaper than Geo Phone. In the first year, the effective cost of using Micromax Bharat 1 for customers would be Rs. 3,364. To compare, Geo Phone users will also have 3,336 rupees. But if customers use both phones for 2 years, Geo Phones will be 5,517 and Micromax Bharat 1 will cost Rs 4,528.
Micromax Bharat is going to give a strong challenge to Reliance Jio and Airtel, which has 1 similar product. Reliance Geo already has 60 million live phones. Company can start pre-order booking of phones soon.
